Dumb Deck of the Day: Bodyguard Ramp

Hey! Sorry for the late update today, but it’s the start of NaNoWriMo, and I’m participating, so I needed to get my word count to a minimum (at least 2K) before I worked on this today. Expect updates to be a little bit less regimented over the next 30 days, and apologies in advance. Anywho, let’s dive right in to today’s Disney Lorcana #dumbdeckoftheday:

This Sapphire Steel Ramp deck is trying to do what those decks do – put a lot of ink in the well and do cool, splashy stuff before your opponent can. This one takes the same approach that some of the more aggressive Amber Steel Songs’ decks take – it believes that the best way for Belle – Strange But Special to dodge removal, is to play a suite of characters with bodyguard, so that you can play Belle and reliably ready her at least once. Between 8 bodyguards and the 3 Aurora – Dreaming Guardian, you should be able to get at least two quests out of your Belles (and, to be clear, you should really be trying to play a protected Belle).

Let me know what you think of this one on twitter @02drop, and I’ll see you tomorrow!
